Welcome to Church of the Holy Cross

JESUS AS A FRIEND

After His baptism at the beginning of His public ministry, Jesus received a private revelation of the approval of His Father. Now, as Jesus moves toward Jerusalem and the realization of His mission, His Father makes a public declaration of His love. And God enjoins His Son's disciples to listen closely as Jesus tries to prepare them for what is to come. Ask for the grace to listen with new ears to the Gospel story. Let yourself be changed by it, becoming more like the Beloved Son.

                                  ADORATION NEWS

Second Sunday of Lent. God brings us the Transfiguration. From the cloud came a voice, "This is My beloved Son, listen to Him." Our Adoration Chapel is open day and night so we can pray, listen, and visit God's beloved Son. Prayer is most important in this world. We revitalize our spirit by uniting ourselves with Jesus.

The Chapel is located in the convent of Holy Cross. Open hours: Sunday 3:00 p.m., Thursday 4:00 p.m., Friday 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. For more information call 763-788-4729 or 612-781-4806. Thank you.
WE ASK YOU to please keep saving aluminum cans. The money raised from recycling the aluminum will go towards the "Continuing Our Tradition" Campaign. Bags of aluminum cans can be put in the containers by the doors of the church or by the garages behind the rectory. Thanks!!
ATTENTION HOLY CROSS USHERS!! - There will be an important Usher's Meeting on Wednesday, March 26th at 7:30 p.m. We will be discussing what to do about an emergency during church. All ushers are asked to please plan on attending.
THE HOLY CROSS YOUTH GROUP - - FROGG'S (Forever Rely on God's Grace) will meet today, Sunday, March 16th at 4:00 p.m. in the Pioneer Room.
ANNUAL CATHOLIC APPEAL - Thus far we have pledges totaling $13,946.00 for approximately 43% of our parish goal of $32,266.00. One-third of our parishioners have responded. We need to hear from the other 2/3 before the telephone follow-up campaign begins. All gifts are welcome - large and small. A gift to the Appeal helps support 45 ministries and services. Please return a pledge slip with your response this week.
