THE HOLY CROSS PARISH ACTIVITIES COMMITTEE thanks everyone who helped make last Tuesday’s Sauerkraut Supper a wonderful event.   856 adult dinners and 31 youth dinners were served.  Thank you to our guests and thank you to everyone who worked.  The many hours put in by volunteers makes the entire event run smoothly.  We enjoyed having Jim & Mary Gibbs as our King and Queen.  The food was delicious and the music delightful.  Thank you and God bless you!

COFFEE & DONUTS - Please join us today after morning Masses for Coffee and Donuts in Kolbe Center.  What a great opportunity to stop down and visit with fellow parishioners.  Join us!!

SOUP SUPPERS - English Altar and Rosary Guild Soup Suppers on Wednesdays during Lent begin March 16 from 4:30 to 7:00 PM in Kolbe Hall.  Enjoy homemade soup, bread, dessert, coffee or milk.  Adults $5.00 and children $1.25 (in celebration of our 125th Anniversary).  This week Potato Soup will be featured.

HOLY CROSS FISH FRY’S every Friday, during Lent except for Good Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in Kolbe Center.  Menu includes: Fish, French Fries or Baked Potato, Cole Slaw, Roll, Coffee or Milk.  Macaroni & Cheese available.  Adults $10.00, Children under 12 - $1.25 (in celebration of Holy Cross’ 125th Anniversary).  Worker sign-up sheets are at the University entrance of Church.  Thank you!

FAMILY ADORATION AT HOLY CROSS Join other families from our diocese for a Family Holy Hour TODAY Sunday, March 13.  Father Allan Paul Eilen, St. Elizabeth Seton Church will lead the Holy Hour - a special afternoon of music, prayer, Adoration, Benediction and reflection.  Confessions start at 2:15 PM and Adoration at 3:00 PM.  Bring a snack to share.  Fellowship to follow.

The first “Sharing Memories” evening will be Wednesday, March 23, 7:00 PM (after the Soup Supper) in the Pioneer Room, located in the lower level of the school.  Our young parishioners can witness a vocal history of Holy Cross parish.  We’re looking for you to share, or just listen to, memories of by gone years.  Refreshments will be served.  Event is sponsored by the 125th Anniversary Committee.

“Hall of Faith” plaques are now on the wall outside of Kolbe Center.  Stop by and see samples of what has been mounted thus far.  Celebrate a special event, remember a loved one, honor someone special, etc.  Order forms are at the doors of the church or online at ourholycross.com.

ENGLISH ALTAR & ROSARY GUILD MEETING - The English Altar & Rosary Guild will meet on Monday, March 14 at 7:00 PM in Kolbe Center.  We cordially invite all of women of the parish interested in learning more about the Rosary Guild to join us on Monday.  Refreshments will be provided by Rose 102.

SPIRITUAL ART SHOW - Call for Artists for the 11th Annual Juried Spiritual Art Show.  $500 total cash prizes.  Monday, April 4 is open call to all artists who live in Minnesota.  Prizes awarded to best works in show.  Work must be done within the past three years.  The show is nondenominational and nonsectarian.  Contest rules and entry form are available at http://sites.google.com/site/spargex or by mail: send a self-addressed envelope to Nick & Rosie @ NE Minneapolis.
