Welcome to Church of the Holy Cross

BULLETIN CONNECTION

Imagine being in that crowd and standing in front of the tomb when the stone is taken away. Jesus stands there and cries out in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!"

What would it do to you if you witnessed such an event? How would it change your life?

The waters of baptism are supposed to give us that experience. Paul writes to the Romans, "We were indeed buried with (Christ) through baptism into death so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead, we too might live in newness of life" (Rm. 6:4).

When we stand around the font and witness a baptism, we're seeing new life! If a dead man coming out of a tomb would change us, what about the new life of the Spirit that is given in each baptism?

THANK YOU FOR A BEAUTIFUL
FORTY HOURS DEVOTION

The priests, servers, reader and ushers.
To Music Director, Phil Baird, who organized and directed the visiting choirs.
Elizabeth Levitski-Schaefer and Janusz Zorawski and the Polish Choir for their help and participation.
All who served Wine and Cheese and those who prepared the meal for the religious and clergy.
All who gave so generously to the collection to help with the expenses.
The Parish Staff for their behind the scenes work.

May God Bless You!
