Text Box: BULLETIN CONNECTION

Jesus was transfigured before their eyes! We really don’t know what happened on that mountain, but it was something extraordinary.

No less extraordinary than what happened to us in baptism, when we became beloved sons and daughters of God. Just as Jesus was named the beloved Son at his transfiguration in Mark’s Gospel, so have we been named in our baptism.

We may not be dazzling bright, but the actions of Christians in the world should dazzle others. Our light should shine before others, so that they may give glory to God (Mt. 5:16).

How have you shown off Christ this week to others?

COFFEE AND DONUTS today after all morning Masses in Kolbe Hall.  All are welcome to come and visit with fellow parishioners.

Please remember Holy Cross Parish in your Will.

PLEASE KEEP SAVING ALUMINUM CANS - The monies raised from recycling the aluminum will now go toward painting the interior of the Church. This past week the Tuesday Toilers recycled aluminum for a total of $1,551.00!  Keep up the good work.  Your help is greatly appreciated!  Please put cans in the containers by the doors of the church or by the garages.

THE ENGLISH ALTAR AND ROSARY GUILD will meet Monday, March 13th at 7:00 p.m. in Kolbe Center.  Rose 106 will provide refreshments.  Women of the parish interested learning more about the Rosary Guild are welcome to join the ladies Monday night.
