AN INVITATION - PLEASE contact one of our Pastoral Ministers, Sister
Benita,
Sister Donna, Sister Priscilla
(612-789-9168) or leave a message with the secretary, if
your relative (Holy Cross parishioner) is in the hospital, nursing home or has
become homebound. It is important to us as a parish to continue to minister
to all those who are and have been an important part of the Holy Cross
community.
HOSPITALIZATIONS - Did you know that because of
privacy laws, hospitals and nursing homes do not call us to report if a
parishioner has been admitted, or if a person's condition has worsened? The
clergy do not visit hospitals unless a request is made by the family. Please
call the Rectory, 612-789-7238, so that we can follow up with a visit and offer
the sacraments of healing. |
THE ARCHDIOCESE OF SAINT PAUL & MINNEAPOLIS is seeking our assistance in
obtaining the names and addresses of Catholic physicians and nurses from our
parish. These individuals will receive a personal invitation to attend a White
Mass in April to honor and support this group of health care professionals.
Please contact the parish secretary by March 14, 2003 if you wish to receive an
invitation. |
