LIKE THE RAINBOW
Like the rainbow, Jesus is a sign of the covenant between God and His creation. In Him, the divine and the created are uniquely joined. He is the preeminent sacrament of God's love for us. During this Lenten season, take time to get to know Him better. In the Easter story, you will encounter both God and yourself more intimately. You will see your special place in the rainbow of His beloved creation.

for gifts and/or pledge payments.
March 2, 2003...............................$6,059.31
There were some delivery problems with the contribution
envelopes. Our supplier has been acquired by Our Sunday Visitor which
has been in the offering envelopes business for 85 years. We look forward to
THE GENEROSITY of many
parishioners, to date we have pledges totaling $12,179.00 for
approximately 37% of
our parish goal of $32,266.00. Your prayers
for the success of the Annual Catholic Appeal
and the ministries it supports are still needed, as are pledges and gifts. Each
gift is important to the mission of our Archdiocese; it takes many people to
form the Body of Christ. No gift is too small and all gifts are important. A
gift to the Appeal helps support 45 ministries and services. Please return a
pledge slip with your response today.
The First Sunday of Lent - In the desert Jesus
fasted for 40 days and was tempted by the devil. We all struggle with temptations.
"Blessed is the person who perseveres in temptation, for when we have been
proved we will receive the crown of life that He promised to those who love Him.
(Jas. 1 :12)" Jesus teaches us to have great confidence. We have the Adoration
Chapel. Let us become committed adorers.
The Chapel is located in the convent of Holy Cross. Open hours:
Sunday 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. Monday 10:00 a.m., Friday 11:00 a.m. For more
