· 40 HOURS DEVOTION with Closing Ceremony at 4:00 PM.  Wine and Cheese Social to follow in Kolbe.

· Coffee & Donuts after morning Masses in Kolbe.

LENTEN SCHEDULE

 

WEEKDAY MASSES during Lent will be at 6:45 AM and 5:30 PM.

 

STATIONS OF THE CROSS - Stations of the Cross with Benediction will be on Friday evenings in English at 6:00 PM and Polish at 7:00 PM.

SOUP SUPPERS - The next Soup Supper sponsored by the English Rosary Guild will be Wednesday, March 7th from 4:30 to 7:00 PM in Kolbe Center.  Come and enjoy Homemade Soup, Bread, Dessert, Coffee or milk.  Adults $4.00 and Children $2.00.  All proceeds go to feed the hungry at local charities.  This week’s soup is Vegetable Beef Barley.

FISH FRYS - The Educational Task Force will again sponsor their “All You Can Eat” Fish Fry every Friday during Lent.  Menu includes: Fish, French Fries, Baked Potato, Cole Slaw, roll, coffee or milk.  Macaroni & cheese available. Adults $8.00, children under 12 - $4.00.

Holy Cross Church is going to sponsor an “All Parish Bake Sale” to benefit the Church Painting Project on Palm Sunday weekend March 31 after the 4:30 Mass and Sunday, April 1 after all morning Masses. ADORATION CHAPEL CLOSED The Chapel will be closed during Forty Hours Devotion next weekend,  March 9, 10, & 11.  Adorers are encouraged to go to Church for their Adoration hour.  Friday, March 9 - 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.  Saturday, March 10 - 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.  Sunday, March 11 - 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM.

EVENING OF INFORMATION - The Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet and Consociates invite you to an evening of information and dialogue about ways to share in the community’s mission as a sister or consociate March 7, 2007, 7:00 PM, Carondelet Center, 1890 Randolph Ave., FFI contact 651-690-7063.  Women and men welcome!

IRVING BERLIN’S EASTER PARADE - Holy Cross Parish Activities has 9 openings left to see Irving Berlin’s musical Easter Parade at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre on Wed., April 11.  Cost is $59.00 per person and includes dinner, show and coach.  Coach leaves at 5:15 PM from Holy Cross.  Reservations must be in by March 12th.  Call Joan at 612-379-4488.  Payment can be made by putting your check in an envelope marked “Parish Activities” and dropping it in the Sunday collection.

COFFEE & DONUTS - Coffee and Donut Sunday is next Sunday, March 11 after all morning Masses in Kolbe Center.  This is a great opportunity to stop after Mass and visit with fellow parishioners.  All are welcome.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - The Elders Counseling Elders Program of Little Brothers of the Elderly is recruiting volunteers of diverse backgrounds, 55 years of age and older, who would like to become peer counselors in this growing program which serves older adults in Ramsey and Hennepin Counties.  Bi-lingual counselors are especially needed.  Call Linda at 612-721-6215 for more information.
