EUCHARISTIC ADORATION

Eucharistic Adoration is an essential way of being with the LORD.  In the Sacred Host, HE is present and always waiting for our visits.  Let us love being with JESUS in the Chapel.  There we can speak with HIM about everything.  We can offer HIM our petitions, our concerns, our troubles.  We can offer HIM our joys, and our gratitude.

Jesus is awaiting our visits in the Adoration Chapel. Open Hours: Monday noon, Tuesday 3:00 PM, Friday 3:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM.  For information, call 612-605-2558 or 612-781-4806.  Thank you!

Text Box: BULLETIN CONNECTION

Mountains have a long history of being a favored place of religious experience. In the ancient Near East, places of sacrifice were often situated on a mountain. Many times temples were constructed on high places. Calvary itself, the ultimate place of sacrifice in Christianity, is a mount. Going up a mountain very often signaled getting closer to God.

Today’s story of the transfiguration takes place on a mountain: a glorious event revealing Jesus in a dazzling array. This display of God’s glory to Peter, James and John, left them speechless.

We don’t have to go up a mountain to get closer to God. But like Peter, James and John, we could stand speechless if we took a moment to reflect on some of God’s actions: the birth of a baby, the reawakening of spring, the grandeur of the universe!

HOLY CROSS PARISH ACTIVITES COMMITTEE - Thank you to everyone who helped make the Sauerkraut Supper a huge success!  Approximately 1,040 dinners were served.  Thank you to our customers, the musicians, the cooks, set-up crew, those who worked the event, and all who helped clean up.  We could not do it without you!  Thank you, thank you!

THANK YOU - Father David wishes to thank all those who remembered his 46th birthday on Thursday, March 1st.  Your cards, prayers, wishes and gifts were greatly appreciated.  God bless you!

PARISH ALMSGIVING PROJECT - Thank you for the very generous donations of items for People Serving People - emergency housing.  Next week we will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Senior Food Shelf.  God bless you for your continued generosity in helping others.
