Welcome to Church of the Holy Cross

A REVOLUTIONARY JESUS

There were busybodies in Jesus' time as well as today and they wanted to make sure that His disciples didn't get away with eating while others had to fast. Jesus tried to help them understand that He had come to bring, not the same old thing, but a new teaching, a new way of life. During Lent, which starts on Wednesday, you might want to read Mark's Gospel looking for the Jesus who came to change the world.

SET-UP HELP IS NEEDED FOR THE SAUERKRAUT SUPPER on Monday, March 3 beginning at 5:00 p.m. First the tables & chairs will be set up and then the napkins, cups, forks, etc. will be added. All help will be greatly appreciated.
THANKS TO THE GENEROSITY of many parishioners, to date we have pledges totaling $9,964.00 for approximately 31% of our parish goal of $32,266.00. Your prayers for the success of the Annual Catholic Appeal and the ministries it supports are still needed, as are pledges and gifts. Each gift is important to the mission of our Archdiocese; it takes many people to form the Body of Christ. No gift is too small. A gift to the Appeal helps support 45 ministries and services that meet the needs beyond our parish boundaries. Please return a pledge slip with your response today.
OUR ANNUAL SAUERKRAUT SUPPER is Tuesday, March 4, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the school auditorium. Don't miss the good meal and fun! See the flyer enclosed.
