MESSAGE FROM

FATHER JENSON

We have begun the discipline of Lent with Ash Wednesday this past week.  Now we enter the season of renewal and transformation.  We hear in our readings about Noah and the ark and also baptism.  Just as baptism wiped away sin, so in baptism we are to die to sin and so be able to live for Christ.  Lent is a time when we renew our baptismal faith, stirring it into deeper love for God and neighbor.   May this holy season truly be a new springtime for our faith.  May our Lady assist us in desiring this and striving to attain this.  Stations of the Cross, daily mass and confession, are wonderful ways to work on this.

Father Glen Jenson, Pastor
