HOLY CROSS LENTEN PROJECT - For the past few years Holy Cross has participated in a Lenten almsgiving project where donations such as food, soap, paper products, etc. are given to local charities.

We will do this project again in 2004. If you know of a special need by a local charity, please contact Janice this week 612-789-7238. Your suggestion will be considered and the list of weekly donations will be published next weekend.

A LENTEN RETREAT, directed by Jeff Cavins, will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN on Friday, February 27 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and continuing Saturday, February 28, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Jeff will give talks on the topics of conversion, suffering, and reading the Bible. TRINITY II TO PERFORM FOR CRADLE OF HOPE - Trinity II, World Champions of Irish Dance, will perform in a benefit event for Cradle of Hope at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 6 at O'Shaughnessy Auditorium, College of St. Catherine, St. Paul. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - The North East Senior Citizen Resource Center is starting to plan their Annual Spring Clean-Up and is looking for a group of volunteers to help with raking, cleaning gutters, washing windows, etc. They are tentatively planning this clean-up for April or the first part of May.
