                                    CATHOLIC SCHOOL NEWS

We are asking you to keep a deceased Northeast resident and Holy Cross parishioner, Lucylle Solem, in your prayers. Mrs. Solem passed away in October. We learned this week that she generously remembered Pope John Paul II Catholic School in her Will. We are pleased that she believed in our mission and that her wishes were to help keep Catholic education available for the children of Northeast Minneapolis. We are very thankful to her.

Sister Beverly sends her thanks to everyone for saving coupons and labels. We received balls for the gym and playground, academic supplies such as science kits, an atlas and social study kits. So far we have received $250 from Kemps Milk lids and are nearing $1000 from the General Mills education coupons. Please keep these coming our way. Thank you.
