Text Box: MESSAGE FROM
FATHER JENSON

In our Gospel this Sunday we see the people of Nazareth reject Jesus after praising him in last week’s Gospel. They sought for a sign from him in order to believe in him. His words and the miracles that he had worked elsewhere were not enough. By working a miracle for them to see, they would be able to understand him and therefore be willing to believe in him. But this is attempting to make God and his ways understandable before being given the gift of our faith in him. God is beyond our understanding as he makes clear many times in scripture and in our lives. Jesus rejected their unwillingness to believe in the power of his words. May we come to true faith and willingness to accept God as God, beyond us and our comprehension, but always worthy of our trust and our hope. Praised be Jesus Christ!

Next Saturday, February 6th, is our School’s Spaghetti Supper. Come to a feast and share in a mission - that of our school’s mission to prepare our children to thrive in their future, here, and hereafter.

Father Glen Jenson, Pastor
