Text Box: PERPETUAL EUCHARISTIC
ADORATION

Pope John Paul II stated “The best, the surest, and the most effective way to establish everlasting peace on the face of the earth is through Mass and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.” Adoration helps us feel more personally involved with Christ and His Church. Through the intimacy of quiet prayer with JESUS we experience the personal love of our Lord Jesus.

Visit Jesus in the Adoration Chapel. Open hours: Monday 9:00 a.m. and Friday 4:00 p.m. There is a list in the Chapel to sign for your chosen hour, or call 612-605-2558 or 612-781-4806. Thank you!

ATTENTION -

Beginning February 1, 2006 there will be a change in the Adoration Chapel hours. Because of the steady decrease in the number of people making a Holy Hour, the following schedule will be implemented:

	Monday to Friday	6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
	Saturday 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
	Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

If you would like to pray to our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament when the Holy Cross Chapel is not available, you are cordially invited and welcome at the Church of Saint Charles, 2739 Stinson Blvd. N.E.

Text Box: BULLETIN CONNECTION

In today’s Gospel Jesus teaches with authority in the synagogue. The people who hear him are astounded at his message. For them it is a completely new teaching.

Most of us have grown up with a knowledge of Jesus all of our lives. It is difficult for us to imagine hearing his message as new. We’ve settled on our understanding of what it means to be a Christian and so we live our life.

How would we react if Jesus walked into our Church today? What would his teaching sound like to us? His message applies to each generation. How does he touch our heart?

New Phone System

Through the generosity of a donor, the parish office and rectory have a new phone system with voice mail and other options.  As with any new system, there are minor adjustments which need to be made.  Please be patient as the priests and staff learn how to efficiently operate this system.  The phone numbers have not changed.

Please remember Holy Cross Parish

in your Will.

FIRST SATURDAY DEVOTIONS will be held this Saturday, February 4 at Holy Cross at 7:45 a.m. with praying of the first three decades of the Rosary and Mass at 8:00 a.m.  After Mass our devotions will continue with praying of the final two decades of the Rosary, prayer and meditation.
