Today, Sunday, January 26, is the beginning of Catholic Schools Week. From 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Pope John Paul II Catholic School will have an open house. The Science Fair projects will be on display, classrooms will be open, faculty and staff will be there to answer questions. Please accept our invitation to come and visit with us.

A Naming and Commending Service for all children who have died before birth and have not yet been Baptized is being offered at the Church of Anthony of Padua, 813 Main Street N.E., Minneapolis, on Sunday, January 26, 2003 at 2:00 PM. All parents and/or family members who experienced the loss of a child due to abortion, miscarriage, stillbirth, or accident, and couples who are unable to conceive a child due to infertility, are invited to attend this liturgy. WE ASK YOU now to keep saving aluminum cans. The money raised from recycling the aluminum will go towards the "Continuing Our Tradition" Campaign. Bags of aluminum cans can be put in the containers by the doors of the church or by the garages behind the rectory. Thanks!!
FIRST SATURDAY DEVOTIONS will be held here at Holy Cross this Saturday, February 1st at 7:45 a.m. with the praying of the first three decades of the Rosary and Mass at 8:00 a.m. After Mass our devotions will continue with praying of the final two decades of the Rosary, prayer and meditation. All are invited to participate.
BLESSING OF THROATS in honor of the of Feast of St. Blase will be at all Masses next weekend - February 1 and 2.
