TEN COMMANDMENTS FOR A NEW YEAR

  1.         Be Kinder.  Most people carry a heavy load.              They need kindness more than criticism.

  2.         Be more understanding.  Every person has              troubles the world knows nothing of.

Often we call a man cold when he is sad.

  3.         Encourage people more.  Accentuate the              positive - eliminate the negative.

  4.         Trust people more.  Suspicion and lack of              trust destroy relationships.

  5.         Show greater enthusiasm for life.

Boredom-dullness-monotony-squeeze the              goodness out of existence.

  6.         Smile more often.  A pleasant smile has the              power to lift others’ spirits.

  7.         Be less sensitive to your own feelings.               Be more sensitive to the feelings of others.

  8.         Be less rigid in meeting change.

Everything old is not necessarily good.

Everything new is not necessarily bad.

  9.         Learn what it means to love your fellow man.              Love of man proceeds from love of God.

  10.       Remember that God helps those who   help              themselves

Act as if everything depends upon you, and pray              as if everything   depended upon God.
