FATHER GLEN’S

THOUGHTS…..

Rejoice and be Glad, our Savior is Born for Us!  This weekend we have celebrated the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ and this Sunday we also honor the Holy Family, Jesus, Mary and Joseph.  A weekend of more joy and love is hard to imagine.  Friday and Saturday we gathered as the family of faith to honor Jesus’ birth on Christmas, and we come to worship again this Sunday which is Holy Family Sunday to honor the family that God chose for his Son, Mary and Joseph with their newborn son Jesus.  The joy that they shared together is the joy that we all desire to experience in our own homes and families.

As we honor the Holy Family in church this Sunday, may we seek to look upon our own families when we return home as holy and sacred to the Lord.  With this wonderful perspective, may we all join together in love and faithful prayer to live as the holy and blessed people that we are through our faith in Jesus Christ.  May our homes and families truly be Holy Families.  God bless all our families now at Christmastime and in the New Year that begins next weekend.  May Our Lady and St. Joseph pray for our families!
