Text Box: BULLETIN CONNECTION Christmas Eve day is filled with anticipation. Hurried travelers and hurried shoppers hope to complete their journeys and tasks before the night falls. Those who are preparing the feast strive to complete all the foods that will be enjoyed by the gathered guests. Even today’s Gospel has a sense of urgency to it. “Mary set out and traveled to the hill country in haste” (Luke 1:39). Like Mary, we are anxious with anticipation. We want Christmas to come. Hopefully, our desire for the feast is not in anticipation of the food and gifts alone. May our desire also be for the fellowship of friends and family, as well as the hope for peace and salvation for the whole world.

“COINS FOR CRIBS” - Thank you for celebrating the Birth of Baby Jesus at Christmas by participating in the Advent “Coins for Cribs” project.  The money collected will be given to “Cradle of Hope” - a non-profit organization that works with mothers and infants in crisis.  Last week we collected $225.00. 

 

2006 FINANCIAL STATEMENTS - For tax purposes per IRS guidelines, all contributions for 2006 must be received in or postmarked 2006.  Contributions received in 2007, but earmarked for the year 2006, will be added to your 2007 contribution record.  Any questions please call Janice Frakie at the Parish Office 612-789-7238.

YOUTH ENVELOPES - The 2007 contribution envelopes for students grades 1 thru 12 are available for pick-up in the vestibule of the Church.
