REJOICE!
"Rejoice!" the angel tells Mary. But that was more than Mary could manage at first. She felt fear in the angelic presence. She felt confusion as to how her motherhood would come about. She must have been anxious about how Joseph would take the news. She trusted in God, however, and gave her consent. And somewhere on the road from Galilee to Judah where her cousin Elizabeth lived, joy came to her. Joy is also God's gift to you. Open your heart and rejoice.
