From the Pastor -
 Letters have been sent reminding parishioners of the balance due on pledges as we complete the third year of the campaign. Everyone is asked to do what they can so we can complete this fundraising in a timely manner. You will notice in the "Gifts Still Needed" above that the amount has increased again. This is due to parishioners moving away, going to nursing homes, or in some cases couples have divorced or are unemployed and cannot pay off their pledge. A few parishioners have died and unfortunately leaving a balance and a good number we simply do not know their whereabouts and they do not respond to my letters.

I assure you this is normal in any capital campaign so we should not be discouraged. I ask all parishioners, societies and friends of our parish to help out with this balance as they can.

The yellow envelope in the envelope packet mailed to your home can be used for gifts and pledge payments.

 Advent is coming to a close. We will be celebrating the Birth of the Christ Child. The Adoration Chapel is a great place for us to give thanks, and to give praise for HIS coming. Give HIM an hour each week.

BROKEN STAINED GLASS WINDOW

Many of you have already noticed the missing stained glass window in the center of the sanctuary. This beautiful window was blown out during the intense 60 mph winds last weekend. The good news is this window is repairable and the cost is covered by insurance. The work is being done by Gaytee Stained Glass in South, Minneapolis. It may take a month or so before the window is returned. Until then, the Tuesday Toilers have put a temporary window in its place.
BAGS FOR BIG PACKAGES for only 50 cents each. Good for those "big" gifts that are hard to wrap. Call or stop by the Rectory during office hours - 612-789-7238.
