                               No 6:30 Mass.

 

SYLVESTER DINNER/DANCE - PNA Hall will have a New Year’s Eve “Sylvester” dance on December 31, 2011 from 7:00 PM till 1:00 AM sponsored by Group 1042 of PNA.  Dinner will be served and also a midnight snack of homemade “Bigos” will be served along with champagne for all.  Music by “Bago Bago”.  Price is $45 per person in advance/$50 at the door and $35 for students with a valid school ID.  For tickets or more information call Jan at 651-628-9846 or Maria at 612-789-8763.

MEMORY LOSS SUPPORT & EDUCATION - The Alzheimer’s Association - Minnesota/North Dakota in collaboration with Catholic Eldercare is offering a support group to family members and/or friends who have a loved one suffering from memory loss.  This group meets the second Wednesday of every month in the Sunroom between St. Hedwig Church and River Village located at 129-29th Avenue N.E., Minneapolis.  Contact Terri at 612-362-2463 for more information.

ANNUAL CHRISTMAS DINNER/DANCE - The Catholic Single Adults Club of the Twin Cities invites all single Catholics, 21 and older, to join us Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012 for our annual Christmas dinner and dance.  Dinner is $20; dance only $10.  Dinner reservations are required for a delicious buffet-style meal.  For reservation information call Carl at 651-603-1412.

POPE JOHN PAUL II SCHOOL NEWS

 

There is nothing quite like a good old fashion Catholic School Christmas Program to prepare one’s heart for the coming of Christmas.  Pope John Paul II Catholic School invites you to join us for several celebrations of the season.

 

· Christmas Program - Monday, December 19 - 2:00 PM        Church of St. Anthony/Catholic Eldercare.

· Christmas Program - Tuesday, December 20 - 6:00 PM        Pope John Paul II gymnasium.

· Christmas Carols - Wednesday, Dec. 21 - 10:30 AM-        River Village, St. Hedwig’s campus.

 

We are also Christmas Caroling at Sharing & Caring Hands on Thursday, December 22 that will be followed by our All School Mass/Caroling at 2:30 PM at Holy Cross.
