YOUR PRAYERS PLEASE - As you may have noticed our weekend Associate Father Edward
Wojtowicz has not taken Masses at Holy Cross for some time. Over the last few months he has struggled with various mysterious health issues. Recently Father Ed was diagnosed with lung cancer and will undergo surgery on December 17th. At the age of 83 he is at peace and strengthened by his faith. Father Ed requests your prayers at this time. He looks forward to celebrating his 60th Anniversary of Ordination at Holy Cross in the Fall of 2004. Cards may be sent to:

PERPETUAL EUCHARISTIC
ADORATION NEWS
The third Sunday of Advent. Pope John Paul II instructs us: "The joy of Advent is
accompanied by the humble and sincere plea to GOD: 'Come, Lord, and save us.'" Our Holy Father calls us to have a personal relationship with Jesus, our Savior, in the Blessed Sacrament. He states, "Take time out to be with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Go before HIM in an hour of quiet adoration and prayer."
The Chapel is located in the convent of Holy Cross. Open hours: Friday 8:00 a.m., Saturday 9:00 a.m. and Saturday 12:00 noon. For more information call 763-788- 4729 or 612-781-4806. Thank you. |
