                                      NEEDED FOR CHRISTMAS

Soon Christmas will be upon us. In preparation I would like to extend an invitation to all to sing in the choir at the Midnight and 10:00 a.m. Christmas Masses. Rehearsals will be on Wednesday, Dec. 10 & Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the Church. If you are interested please come to rehearsal on December 10. How great it would be to have a good number of voices in our Choir for Christmas. Please help!

ENGLISH ALTAR AND ROSARY GUILD will meet on Tuesday, Dec. 9. Please note that the meeting is on Tuesday. Refreshments by Rose 106. Members are asked to please bring items for Our Lady of Good Counsel Cancer Home to the December 9 meeting. Items needed are: paper products, toilet tissue, facial tissue, individual cream soups, juice (no citrus) individual puddings, jellos and Vaseline lotion.
ATTENTION HOLY NAME MEMBERS!! - Next Sunday, December 14 is the second Sunday of the month. According to the Holy Name Constitution and Bylaws the members are to receive Communion as a body. Please sit up front on the right center pews with your family during the 10:00 a.m. Mass. Thank you.
OPLATKI - The breaking and sharing of Oplatki with each other on Christmas Eve is a traditional Polish custom. We wish each other good health and happiness during the Christmas season and throughout the New Year. Though this is a Polish tradition, it is a beautiful practice that can be used by everyone because of the significance of the action - joy and peace to all. Oplatki is available:

  Convent (back door) evenings.

      Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
      Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon
CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS EVE MASS We need several children for the 4:00 p.m. Mass on Christmas Eve to be St. Joseph, Mary, angels, shepherds, etc. If your child can help, please call the Rectory weekdays at 612-789-7238. There will be a short rehearsal on Monday, Dec. 22 at 6:30 p.m. in Church.
