SCHOOL TASK FORCE UPDATE Our school Task Force continues to work in preparing its report on the vitality and viability of our school. This report will be presented to the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis on Friday, December 17. We have been asked to provide them with our assumptions and rationale on our viability along with the actions we plan to take to ensure our future success as a school. This will accompany a recommendation for our future. It is our deeply held belief that Pope John Paul II Catholic School is a vital and viable part of the Northeast Catholic Community. The future of the church is found in our Catholic schools. However, it takes a community to ensure that future. Our school is the only remaining Catholic School in northeast Minneapolis. We are focused on our mission to educate the whole person so that our young people and school families know EXACTLY who Jesus Christ is. We want to be part of enlivening the Catholic faith here in northeast. As members of our Northeast Catholic Community we ask that YOU attend the Public Meeting that will be held on Monday, December 6 at 7:00 PM in Kolbe Hall. This meeting is for all parents and parishioners with an interest in the future of Pope John Paul II Catholic School and our northeast Catholic community. Daycare will be provided if needed.
