FOOD FOR THE NEEDY - We now need food for Christmas baskets.  You can bring your food donations when you come to Church or to the Rectory during the week.  Please make sure to check the expiration date on the food and do not bring open boxes or bags.  Cash donations will also be accepted and used for hams, bread, etc.

VOLUNTEER GROCERY SHOPPERS NEEDED - Do you enjoy interacting with others?  Volunteer to be a Grocery Shopper Assistant at Catholic Charities Branch l Food Shelf in Minneapolis.  We’re looking for volunteers to spend a few hours a month greeting guests and guiding them through our newly redesigned food shelf to ensure that they find the food they need for their families.  To sign up or to receive more information, please contact Meg at 612-204-8420

ENGLISH ALTAR & ROSARY GUILD MEETING - The English Altar and Rosary Guild will meet on Monday, December 12th.  Please remember to bring your items for the Cancer Home to this meeting.  Rose 106 will provide refreshments.

CHRISTMAS CRAFT AND BAKE SALE - The St. Anthony of Padua Women’s Guild will hold their Christmas Craft and Bake Sale in the Atrium of Catholic Eldercare (817 Main St. N.E.) on Saturday, Dec. 10th from 2:00 to 7:00 PM and Sunday, Dec. 11 from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM.  It will include a variety of home baked goods and craft items as well as “Toni’s Attic Treasures.”

ANNUAL FRENCH CHRISTMAS BOUTIQUE - Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Lourdes Place will have it’s Christmas Boutique on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 12:00 Noon to 8:00 PM and Sunday, Dec. 11 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  Included will be: French Boutique, Silent Auction, Christmas Village, French Meat Pies (French Tourtieres), Carmel Rolls and much more.  612-379-2259.


Join us for Breakfast with St. Nicholas on Sunday, December 18, 2011 after the 10:00 AM Mass.  Families are welcome to come down to Kolbe Hall for breakfast, cookie decorating and more.  This event is free but reservations are required.  Please sign up at the doors of the Church.  Reservation deadline is Sunday, December 11th.
