Text Box: RETIREMENT FOR THE RELIGIOUS -

The appeal for the Retirement Fund for the Religious asks us to remember those women and men religious whose years of ministry bestowed on us, through their faith, their character, and their integrity, an incalculable spiritual legacy.

Now more than 37,000 Catholic religious are past age 70; more than 5,000 men and women require skilled nursing care. While costs for care in a skilled nursing facility in the U.S. average more than $65,000 annually, religious institutes have kept their average cost of skilled nursing care to $49,850.

The Retirement Fund for Religious once again asks for your help which you have given so generously in the past. As in the past, almost 94% of your gifts will be distributed directly to those groups most in need at this time. They count on your generosity and offer you their prayerful thanks.

Please use the envelope in your packet
