THE RIGHT CHOICE Isaiah too longs for the coming of the Lord to make things right in the world. He imagines it being a spectacle with God rending the heavens and appearing as the mountain quakes before Him so that everyone will pay attention. But then he settles on a quite different image of how God will come to His people - as a Father who loves them, a potter who has shaped them into His image. Think about how God chose to enter into human history in the person of Jesus. Do you think He made the right choice? |

PERPETUAL EUCHARISTICADORATION NEWS FIRST SUNDAY OF ADVENT!!! - Be Watchful! Be Alert! You do not know when the time will come. Advent commemorates the expectation of our Redeemer. It prepares us to celebrate the Mystery of the Word made Flesh. Advent is the season of waiting and longing for our Redeemer. Let us place ourselves in HIS presence by visiting and spending time with HIM in our Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel. The Chapel is located in the convent of Holy Cross. collecting items for the Christmas food boxes.
We will need food for the baskets and we can use gifts for adults and children - clothes,
toys, games, etc. Any money received will be used to buy hams, potatoes, bread and other items for the baskets. Thanks!! |
