AS MANY OF YOU are aware, thousands are in need of food, shelter and medical assistance following the Iran earthquake on December 26, 2003. There are possibly 50,000 feared dead, and at least 100,000 left homeless. The Silk Road City of Bam was virtually leveled by this massive earthquake. Catholic Relief Services has allocated $100,000 in emergency relief to provide shelter, health care and food for those affected by the quake. If you can help once again, please make your check payable to the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis and mark it "Iran Earthquake Relief." Please forward all donations to: "Iran Earthquake Relief", c/o Accounting, The Chancery, 226 Summit Avenue, Saint Paul, MN 55102.
