WHAT IS EUCHARISTIC ADORATION?  It is simply our response to JESUS’ love for us.

Text Box: MESSAGE FROM FATHER JENSON This Sunday we return to Ordinary Time and hear in our Gospel about the first miracle Jesus performed as he began his public ministry, the miracle at Cana in which he changed water into wine at a marriage feast. At Christmastime we celebrated the gift of God the Father of his Son Jesus Christ born for us. At Cana, Jesus gave another gift to a couple at their wedding. Jesus seeks to give himself to us in many ways to enrich our lives. With Christmas just behind us, in light of his gift to this couple to save their wedding reception from falling apart, we should think about the gifts that we have from him in our own lives. Take some time to think about just who is a blessing in our lives and what things and circumstances are also blessings. You might be surprised at how many blessings God has given to each of us. From this awareness of blessing by God can come a different attitude about our day and how to handle what is going on in our lives. We are not in it alone, God is here to help us. Praised be Jesus Christ! Be sure to mark your calendar for our school’s Feb. 6 Spaghetti Supper fund raiser at Kolbe Hall at Holy Cross from 4:30-7:00 PM. Also, I will be away on retreat coming up the last week of January, from the evening of Sunday the 24th through Friday the 29th. I can’t wait, hopefully south Texas will be warm and sunny that week! FISH FRY’S - The Lenten Fish Fry’s are returning to Holy Cross every Friday during Lent except for Good Friday beginning on February 19th.  Worker sign-up sheets for the Fish Fry’s are at the University entrance of the Church beginning this weekend - Jan. 16-17.
