FATHER GLEN’S

THOUGHTS…..  

 

 

This Sunday we have returned to Ordinary Time.  Our first reading speaks of the servant of the Lord for whom the Lord is his strength and who is a light to the nations.  Having celebrated the Baptism of the Lord last Sunday we know that we who are baptized are to follow the example of the Lord with the strength that he gives us and be examples for the world.  May we live these days of Ordinary Time in a grace filled extraordinary way following the call of our baptism.

 

I look forward to seeing you all again when I return from my vacation.

Text Box: POPE JOHN PAUL II SCHOOL NEWS Pope John Paul II Catholic School will remain OPEN. Praise the Lord! We received word from the Archdiocese that our plan for our school makes sense. The review board agrees that “the way in which Pope John Paul II serves the N.E. Minneapolis community would make it a candidate” for special consideration. Our task is to work together to implement the plan placed before the commission. This will require the work of all of us - parents, faculty, staff, students, parishes, and volunteers. It takes a community to ensure the future of our school. We want to be part of enlivening the Catholic faith here in northeast. Mark your calendars for these important events in the life of your school: Thursday, February 3 Open House - 6:00 PM Friday, February 4 Generation Day Mass - 2:30 PM Church.
