Welcome to Church of the Holy Cross

BULLETIN CONNECTION

Each baptized Christian is called to follow Christ. While we all have a common calling, each of us is unique, blessed with particular gifts and talents by the Lord. Using those gifts according to God's plan, calls for discernment.

Some people in each community are called to serve God through ministry in the Church. Some become priests, others religious sisters or brothers, and still others serve as a lay person in church ministry.

The scriptures today offer the opportunity to reflect on God's call, the universal call of all the baptized and the particular call given to each Christian.

To what work is God calling you?

                                                                                                             ADORATION

In today's reading the Lord calls. The disciples ask JESUS "where are you staying?" Today we do not have to ask Jesus that question. We know where HE stays, also we know we have JESUS present and exposed in the Adoration Chapel. Visit the Adoration Chapel - JESUS IS CALLING.

Open hours: Monday 9:00 a.m., Tuesday 10:00 a.m., Wednesday 11:00 p.m., Friday 12:00 noon, Saturday 11:00 a.m.

Other hours are listed in the Chapel. To have questions answered or for more information call 612-605-2558 or 612-781-4806. Thank you!

ATTENTION

Beginning February 1, 2006 Beginning February 1, 2006 there will be a change in the Adoration Chapel hours. Because of the steady decrease in the number of people making a Holy Hour, the following schedule will be implemented:

Monday to Friday 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Saturday 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

We regret any disappointments or inconvenience this change may cause but ask for your understanding and cooperation.

If you would like to pray to our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament when the Holy Cross Chapel is not available, you are cordially invited and welcome at the Church of Saint Charles, 2739 Stinson Blvd. N.E.

PLEASE contact one of our Pastoral Ministers - Sister Benita or Sister Donna (612-789-9168) or leave a message with the parish secretary (612-789-7238), if your loved one, neighbor or friend (Holy Cross parishioner) is in the hospital, nursing home, or has become homebound. It is important to us to continue to minister to all those who are or have been an important part of the Holy Cross community. Thank you!

Please remember Holy Cross Parish in your Will.
