2003 RETIREMENT FUND
FOR THE RELIGIOUS

More than 52% of all religious men and women are past age 69. These religious over 70 adopted a life of faith, trust and simplicity while living a life of prayer, challenging ministry and cherished ideals. Now their religious communities find themselves with declining numbers, a diminishing impact, and a growing financial need, despite their great desire to focus energies on ministry and renewal. Religious are justifiably proud of the work they have done (often for modest stipends or maintenance, but no retirement benefits) and continue to do in providing education, spiritual, pastoral or medical care to people both within and outside our faith community.

Now in its 16th year, the Retirement Fund for Religious once again ask for your help. As in the past 96% of your gifts will be distributed to those groups most in need at this time. Be generous the weekend of Dec. 13/14. They count on your generosity and offer you their prayerful thanks.
