WHOSE JUSTICE? On this First Sunday of Advent, we hear the voice of the great prophet Jeremiah who tells us that the nation in which the Lord is made manifest will be known by the phrase, The Lord is our justice. As you begin this holy season of preparation of your heart and community for the coming of the Christ Child, be aware of how justice is practiced in your home and community. Is it justice of the Lord? Does it create an atmosphere where Jesus will feel welcomed? |

| PLEASE KEEP SAVING ALUMINUM CANS - The money raised from recycling the aluminum will go towards the "Continuing Our Tradition" Campaign. Bags of aluminum cans can be put in the containers by the doors of the church or by the garages behind the rectory. |

| CHRISTMAS BASKETS - We are now collecting items for the Christmas food baskets. We will need food for the baskets and we can use gifts for adults and children - clothes, games, toys, etc. Any money received will be used to buy hams, potatoes, bread and other items for the baskets. Thanks!! |
