TO ALL SENIORS - You are invited to join us at our Annual Senior Mass and Dinner on Friday, December 4 at 10:30 AM.  Mass will be in Church.  Cost is $13.00 and reservations are necessary.  Please call 612-789-9168 (evenings).  Deadline is Monday, November 30th.

 

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION

 

ADVENT!!  Let us adore the King, JESUS our LORD who is coming!!  Visit the Adoration Chapel to prepare to celebrate the mystery of the Word, made Flesh.  This is the season of waiting and longing for our Redeemer.

FAMILY FUN NIGHT Tuesday, December 1 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in Kolbe Hall.  Come for food, fun and family.  Dinner is FREE.  All parish families are invited to enjoy time together with their family and learn how to bring Advent alive in your home.  Sponsored by Holy Cross Parish and Pope John Paul II Catholic School.  RSVP to secretary@popejohnpaul2school.org or 612-789-8851.  Please plan to join us on the 1st.

BAKE  AND CRAFT SALE - The Holy Cross Altar and Rosary Guild will sponsor a Bake and Craft Sale in Kolbe Hall on Saturday, Dec. 5 after the 4:30 Mass and after the morning Masses on Sunday, December 6.  Also featured will be a “Santa Secret Shop” where children can purchase gifts for family & friends for $1.00 or less, Oplatki, Sisters will sell Carmel Corn, visit with “St. Nick”, raffles and Coffee & Donuts.  All Guild members are asked to bring two items for the bake sale.  Roses 106, 107 and 108 will work the Bake & Craft Sale.

 

COME FOR COFFEE and donuts and learn how you can lose weight!  The Holy Cross Light Weight group will be showing an orientation video December 6 (Donut Sunday) at 11:15 in the Pioneer Room.  Stop by and learn how the Light Weigh can change your life.

DEVOTIONS - First Saturday Devotions will be held this Saturday, December 5, at Holy Cross at 7:45 AM with praying of the first three decades of the Rosary and Mass at 8:00 AM.  After Mass devotions will continue with the praying of the final two decades of Rosary, prayer and meditation.

CANCER HOME DONATIONS  - English Altar and Rosary Guild members are asked to please remember to bring items for Our Lady of Good Counsel Free Cancer Home to the Monday, December 7th meeting.  Current items needed are: Paper products, toilet tissue, facial tissue, individual cream soups, juices (no citrus), individual puddings, jellos and Vaseline lotion.
