TO ALL SENIORS - You are invited to join us at our Annual Senior Mass and Dinner on Friday, December 3 at 10:30 AM.  Mass will be in Church.  Cost is $10.50 and reservations are necessary.  Please call 612-789-9168 (evenings).  Deadline is Monday, November 29th.

DEVOTIONS - First Saturday Devotions will be held this Saturday, December 4, at Holy Cross at 7:45 AM with praying of the first three decades of the Rosary and Mass at 8:00 AM.  After Mass devotions will continue with praying of the final two decades of the Rosary, prayer and meditation.

BAKE AND CRAFT SALE - The Holy Cross Altar and Rosary Guild will sponsor a Bake and Craft Sale in Kolbe Hall Saturday, Dec. 4 after the 4:30 Mass and Sunday, Dec. 5 after the morning Masses.  Also featured will be a “Santa’s Secret Shop” where children can purchase gifts for family and friends for a $1.00 or less, Oplatki, visit with St. Nick, raffles and Coffee and Donuts.  All Guild members are asked to bring two items for the bake sale.  Roses 107, 108 and 109 will work the Bake & Craft Sale.  Donations may be brought after 12:00 Noon on Saturday to Kolbe Hall.

FAMILY NIGHT Tuesday, November 30th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in Kolbe Hall.  Come to school and bring your family for food, fun and faith.  Dinner is FREE.  All parish families are invited to enjoy time together and learn how to bring Advent alive to your home.  Sponsored by Holy Cross Parish and Pope John Paul II Catholic School.  RSVP to secretary@popejohnpaul2school.org or 612-789-8851.

PRAYER SHAWL - Please join us!!  Your skills (sew, crochet, knit, fleece tie or sewing labels) are needed.  We meet this Tuesday, November 30th at 6:30 PM in the Parish Library.  If you would like to work at home, stop by a meeting and see the shawls and get copies of prayers, patterns/ideas and size guidelines.  For more information call the Parish Office at 612-789-7238 or Mary at 612-379-4090.

MUSIC FOR CHRISTMAS - The English Choir will begin rehearsals on Wednesday, December 1st at 7:00 PM.  Following rehearsals will be from 7:00 to 8:30 PM on December 8 (after Polish Mass), 15, 22 and 10:30 PM December 24.  We invite you to join our loyal choir members to make this a festive Advent and Christmas.  Chris Brand - Organist & Choirmaster
