Welcome to Church of the Holy Cross

The prophet Isaiah sees the coming of the Lord as bringing peace. He says:

One nation shall not raise the sword against another,
nor shall they train for war again.

What can your Eucharistic community and your family do this Advent to increase the visibility of this vision during the coming year?

ADVENT! Now we watch for the day hoping that the salvation promised us will be ours when Christ our Lord will come again in His glory.

Visit the Adoration Chapel presenting your "thanks" and "needs" to Jesus.

The Adoration Chapel is located in the convent of Holy Cross. Choose an hour for this Advent. It is also the "Year of the Eucharist." Open hours: Wednesday 8:00 a.m., Saturday 12:00 noon and Sunday 3:00 p.m. For more information call 612-605-2558 or 612-781-4806. Thank you
"COINS FOR CRIBS" - an Advent outreach program at Holy Cross. As we prepare to celebrate the Birth of Baby Jesus at Christmas, our parish will collect coins during Advent that will be used for baby cribs. The money collected will be given to "Cradle of Hope" - a non-profit organization that works with mothers and infants in crisis. All coins received in the weekly collection plate will be given to this project. Bring extra coins to Church! If you prefer to give dollars or a check, please put your gift in an envelope marked "Cradle of Hope." Thank you.
CHRISTMAS BASKETS - We are now collecting items for the Christmas food baskets. We will need food for the baskets and we can use gifts for adults and children - clothes, games, toys, etc. Any money received will be used for hams, potatoes, bread and other items for the baskets. Thanks!
THE NEXT PEACE MASS will be at Holy Cross on Tuesday, November 30. Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Mass at 7:00 p.m. Receive a copy of the Blessed Virgin Mary's message given to the world six hours before. Refreshments to follow.
