                                                                                                   RETIREMENT FUND FOR THE
                                                                                                                     RELIGIOUS

Many religious communities find themselves struggling to care for their elderly and infirm members while still continuing their many ministries. Once again we ask you to consider helping these groups by participating in the annual appeal for the Retirement Fund for the Religious. These men and women have served us well and continue to do so even as their communities age and diminish. They face challenging circumstances as health care and living costs continue to escalate; some of them have also been seriously affected by hurricanes which have devastated parts of our country.

The weekend of December 10-11 a special collection will be taken up at all Masses to respond to this need. As in the past, almost 95% of your gifts will be distributed to those groups most in need at this time. They count on your generosity and offer you their prayerful thanks.
