ARE YOU READY?
After September 11, 2001, we understand in a much deeper way what Paul meant when he wrote:
Just when people are saying, "Peace and security," ruin will fall on them with the suddenness of pains overtaking a woman in labor, and their will be no escape.
Let us heed Paul's exhortation to know ourselves as people of the Light, ready to meet our God face to face at any moment.

to all who have recently given new gifts and
to those making regular pledge payments. We now have monthly loan payments
and your continued financial help is greatly appreciated! The yellow
envelope in the envelope packet mailed to your home can be used for gifts
and/or pledge payments.
We are nearing the end of November - the
month dedicated to the souls in Purgatory. At
the tomb of Lazarus Martha said, "I know that Lazarus will arise again in
the resurrection at the last day." (John 11:24) This echoes in our heart
as we pray and grieve for our beloved dead. What better place to pray for our
deceased loved ones than before the Blessed Sacrament. We have a quiet peaceful
place to spend time in prayer for our deceased. Visit our Adoration Chapel.
Visit Jesus in the Adoration Chapel located in the convent of Holy Cross. Open
hours: Tuesday 11 :00 a.m., Thursday 4:00 p.m., Saturday 1:00 p.m.
