ARE YOU READY?
After September 11, 2001, we understand in a much deeper way what Paul meant when he wrote:
Just when people are saying, "Peace and security," ruin will fall on them with the suddenness of pains overtaking a woman in labor, and their will be no escape.
Let us heed Paul's exhortation to know ourselves as people of the Light, ready to meet our God face to face at any moment.

PERPETUAL EUCHARISTIC
ADORATION NEWS
We are nearing the end of November - the
month dedicated to the souls in Purgatory. At
the tomb of Lazarus Martha said, "I know that Lazarus will arise again in
the resurrection at the last day." (John 11:24) This echoes in our heart
as we pray and grieve for our beloved dead. What better place to pray for our
deceased loved ones than before the Blessed Sacrament. We have a quiet peaceful
place to spend time in prayer for our deceased. Visit our Adoration Chapel.
Visit Jesus in the Adoration Chapel located in the convent of Holy Cross. Open
hours: Tuesday 11 :00 a.m., Thursday 4:00 p.m., Saturday 1:00 p.m.
For more information call 763-788-4729 or 612-781-4806. |
LET US REMEMBER those who are hungry and in need of
food. You can bring
food donations when you come to
Church or to the Rectory during the week.
The food will be used for our Thanksgiving Baskets. Please make
sure to check the expiration dates on the food and do not bring open boxes or
bags. Cash donations will also be accepted and the money will buy turkeys,
bread, etc. We will make the baskets up on Sunday, November 24th and deliver
them on Monday, November 25th. |
