FOOD FOR THE NEEDY - Help us remember those who are hungry and in need of food.  You can bring food donations when you come to Church or to the Rectory during the week.  The food will be used for Thanksgiving Baskets.  Please make sure to check the expiration date on the food and do not bring open boxes or bags.  Cash donations will also be accepted and used for turkeys, bread, etc.


In 2011 we will celebrate the 125th Anniversary of Holy Cross Parish.  That’s only 7 weeks away!  The Anniversary Committee has been meeting to plan special events and to put an anniversary theme into already established events.  

Watch this corner of the bulletin to find out about upcoming plans.  God has blessed us with 125 wonderful years and we look forward to many, many more anniversaries!

CHRISTMAS SHOW - Enjoy an evening attending the Bobby Vinton Christmas Show on December 10 at Hinckley Casino Motel Theater.  Cost is $50 per person and includes transportation and ticket.  Leave Holy Cross at 4:30 PM.  For information call Joan at 612-379-4488.  Limited seating.  All reservations and payments due by November 21.

HOLY CROSS TURKEY BINGO is today Sunday, November 14 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM in Kolbe Hall.  All are welcome.  Refreshments will be available.  Sponsored by the Holy Name Society.

COFFEE & DONUT SUNDAY - TODAY is Coffee and Donut Sunday.  Stop down after the morning Masses in Kolbe Center and enjoy coffee, donuts and visit with fellow parishioners.  Everyone is welcome.

TURKEY BINGO - All Saints is having a Turkey and Cash Bingo on Sunday, November 21st from 2-5 PM in the Parish Center located at 435-5th Street N.E.  Games, refreshments and door prizes will be featured.

TURKEY & HAM RAFFLE -The St. Boniface Catholic Aid Council is sponsoring a Turkey and Ham Raffle on Tuesday, November 23rd at 7:30 PM St. Boniface Parish Hall, 7th Avenue and 2nd St. N.E.  Admission is $2.00 - Adults only.  Free Refreshments.

TO ALL SENIORS - You are invited to join us at our Annual Senior Mass and Dinner on Friday, December 3 at 10:30 AM.  Mass will be in Church.  Cost is $10.50 and reservations are necessary.  Please call 612-789-9168 (evenings).  Deadline is Monday, November 29th.
