FATHER GLEN’S THOUGHTS….. Our Gospel speaks of the master who went on a journey and left money with each of three people and what they did with it in his absence. God has given us riches in the form of natural gifts and talents enriched by grace through the sacraments for us to use as we choose, to bear fruit in God’s eyes in generous service to others, or to waste them in a self-centered life. In this month of the afterlife we are reminded that our lives have been given to us to accomplish a goal in God’s eyes, to bring him to others through how we live among them. Let us pray that with the help of devotion to the saints, whose lives provide inspiration for godly living, that we will bring Christ to others every day. Mary Queen of All Saints, pray for us. Father Glen Jenson, Pastor |
