FOOD FOR THE NEEDY - Help us remember those in need.  You can bring food donations when you come to Church or to the Rectory during the week.  The food will be used for Thanksgiving Baskets.  Please make sure to check the expiration date on the food and do not bring open boxes or bags.  Cash donations will also be accepted and used for turkeys, bread, etc.

COFFEE & DONUT SUNDAY - TODAY, Sunday, November 8 the Holy Cross Choir is hosting Coffee & Donut Sunday in Kolbe Center. This is a great opportunity to stop and visit with fellow parishioners.  Please join us.

ENGLISH ROSARY GUILD MEETING - The Holy Cross English Rosary Guild will meet on Monday, November 9th at 7:00 PM in Kolbe Center.  If any woman of the parish would like to learn or know more about the Rosary Guild, please join us on Monday evening.  Refreshments will be provided by Rose 107.

HOLY CROSS TURKEY BINGO - The Holy Cross Holy Name will host a “Turkey & Cash Bingo” on Sunday, November 15 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM in Kolbe Hall.  All are welcome.  Refreshments will be available.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST sponsored by the youth of St. John’s Byzantine Catholic Church, 2215-3rd Street N.E. TODAY, November 8th from 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon.  All proceeds go toward purchasing items for people in need in our community.  Also available will be baked goods, crafts and pierogi.

THANK YOU to Debra Jurek and Carrie Boeser for organizing the “All Saints Party” for children held at Holy Cross last weekend.  A great time was had by all.

AN EVENING AFFIRMING THE FAITH -  You are cordially invited to spend An Evening Affirming the Faith at St. Charles Borromeo, 2739 Stinson Boulevard N.E., Minneapolis, on Saturday, December 5.  The evening begins with Mass at 5:00 PM, followed by Social, Dinner and Keynote Speaker.  The Keynote Speaker will be Archbishop John Nienstedt who will talk on “Marriage and the Current Debate.”  Dinner entrees by Prom Catering: Chicken Breast with Marsala Sauce & Mushrooms, or Sliced Beef with Port Wine Demi Glaze.
