TURKEY BINGO - The Holy Cross English Holy Name Society is sponsoring their annual TURKEY BINGO next Sunday, November 11th from 2:00 to 5:00 PM in Kolbe Center.  Come and enjoy a fun afternoon and try and win your Thanksgiving Turkey.  Refreshments available.  Everyone is welcome.

“THE CHRISTMAS WINDOW” will be presented at the North Heights Lutheran Church on Friday, Dec. 7, 2007.  Join the staff from Kozlak Radulovich Chapel and rediscover the miracle of Christmas with a special family as imagination comes to life through their window.  Cost is $55.00 and includes bus, dinner and show.  Call 612-789-8869 to RSVP by November 9.

“IS EVERYBODY GOING TO BE SAVED?” - The Church of St. Helena, Minneapolis, will offer a morning of presentations by Douglas G. Bushman, S.T.L., Theologian and Director of the Institute for Pastoral Theology at Ave Maria University, Naples, Florida, who will speak on “Is Everybody Going To Be Saved?” on Saturday, November 17th from 9:00 to 11:30 AM in Rowan Hall, 3204 East 43rd Street.  Participants should register by 12:00 Noon on Friday, November 16.  Tuition is $5 per person (includes continental breakfast).  Tickets are available by calling 612-729-7321.

CHRISTMAS BAZAAR AND BAKE SALE sponsored by the St. Boniface Mothers’ Guild on Saturday, November 10, 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM in the Church Hall located at 629 Second St. N.E.  Games, raffles, boutiques, and Suzie’s Attic “treasurers”.  Many home-made Christmas treats in the Bake Sale.  The refreshments feature our “Famous Roast Beef Sandwiches”.  Take-outs are available.  Call 612-379-8827 for information.

VETERAN’S DAY CELEBRATION - Come and enjoy it’s a Grand Old Flag Veteran’s Day celebration on Saturday, November 10 from 7:00-11:00 PM at Church of the Holy Name School Gym located at 37th St. and 12th Avenue in Minneapolis.  Performing music from the World War II era and other favorites will be the Bill Evans New Orleans Jazz Band.
