THE CHOIR NEEDS YOU! - More parishioners of Holy Cross are needed to sing in the Choir. Practices are Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Church. The choir sings at the 10:00 a.m. Mass each Sunday. There are only seven practices before Christmas. Please help us by giving your time to the parish so we may have a glorious sound at Christmas.  HOLY CROSS ROSARY GUILD FASHION SHOW - The Holy Cross Rosary Guild presents their Annual Luncheon and Mission Benefit on Saturday, November 9 in Kolbe Center. The event begins with a Social at 11:15. A Roast Pork Lunch will be served at 12:00 noon. Following lunch a Style Show by Lila's will be featured. Tickets are $14.00 and are available by calling Janice Godlewski weekdays at 612-789-7238 or Judy Siwek at 612-781-7914. Tickets will be available after Masses the weekend of Nov. 2 & 3. Table reservations will be taken for groups of 8 or 10.
DALE AHLQUIST, seen on EWTN and president of the American Chesterton Society, will be giving a free talk Saturday, November 9th at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Kolbe Hall, 1630 - 4th Street N.E., Minneapolis. The talk is entitled, "G.K. Chesterton: The Apostle of Common Sense". Everyone is welcome and refreshments will be served.
