HOLY CROSS ROSARY GUILD FASHION SHOW - The Holy Cross Rosary Guild presents their Annual Luncheon and Mission Benefit on Saturday, November 9 in Kolbe Center. The event begins with a Social at 11:15. A Roast Pork Lunch will be served at 12:00 noon. Following lunch a Style Show by MainStream Fashions will be featured. Tickets are $14.00. As a special tribute to our name sake, the Holy Father, the children are writing paragraphs about Pope John Paul II as their hero, what their favorites thing about the Holy Father is, and what they think the Catholic Church will be like in twenty-five years. These tributes are being hung on the school walls as the children complete them. We invite you to come and see these tributes.
ST. MARY'S ORTHODOX CATHEDRAL wil1 be hosting their 46th Annual Christmas Fair today, Sunday, Nov. 2, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The dinner includes perohi, holubki (cabbage rolls) sauerkraut, and bread. Dinner served until 2:00 p.m. Also at the fair will be homemade baked goods and pantry items on sale, a bottle boutique, basket raffles, Russian tea, homemade desserts, live balalaika music, and children's activities.
