Text Box: MESSAGE FROM
FATHER JENSON

This weekend on All Saints Day we honor the saints, our elder brothers and sisters in the faith who have lived their lives in this world so well that we are assured of their entrance into heaven. We celebrate and honor those who have used the grace of God that we all receive through the sacraments and prayer to great effect in their lives.

It is possible for everyone to become a saint in this life. Because this is not something that we all are able to focus on in the midst of this life with all of its many delights and busyness, the Lord in his mercy will help us finish the process of becoming a saint when we die if we have at least a saving faith though imperfectly lived out. In Purgatory he will cleanse us to be able to stand in the company of the perfect in heaven who have heroically lived their faith here below such as the martyrs without any regret or sense of being lesser before God.

Monday is All Souls Day. We offer mass and prayers for the souls preparing for heaven that they might be ready to join the saints and angels around the throne of God in heaven and know perfect joy forever. All three of our parishes will have mass on Monday for All Souls Day. Please consult your parish bulletin for details.

Tuesday is Primary Voting Day. Don’t forget to vote.

Father Glen Jenson, Pastor

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION

With the eyes of faith we know that the Eucharist is JESUS, with the eyes of love we know that HE  desires to be with us.  JESUS stays with us to feed us with HIS Body, to console us with HIS LOVE.  He longs for our friendship and our love.  Visit the Adoration Chapel to adore Him.  Give Him praise as well to pray for our petitions.

Open Hours: Tuesday 11:00 AM, Tuesday Noon, Tuesday 3:00 PM, Wednesday 11:00 AM and Friday 1;00 PM.

For information call 763-784-1317
