MARRIAGE RETREAT - Make a date with your lifelong mate.  2010 Archdiocesan Newly Married Retreat on Saturday, Feb. 6th from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM at Church of St. Charles Borromeo, 2520 St. Anthony Blvd, St. Anthony.  Father Peter Laird will be speaking on the Importance of Marriage, Finances, Communication, Parenting, Holiness and more. DAY OF RECOLLECTION FOR CAREGIVERS - Treat yourself to a quiet spiritual day of renewal on Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100-93rd Avenue N in Brooklyn Park.  This is a special event for caregivers. “Caregiver” means anyone who lives, works or regularly visits persons with serious illnesses or disabilities. The event will include the celebration of Mass, prayer, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation. BAPTISM CLASSES - Baptism class is required for parents and Godparents before the desired date for Baptism.  If you are planning to attend a class, you need to call the Holy Cross Parish Office at 612-789-7238 to register.  Baptism class is held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the conference room at St. Hedwig’s River Village, 29th & Randolph St. N.E.  The next class is this week - Tuesday, January 12.

FISH FRY’S - Holy Cross Church is once again going to have our Annual Fish Fry’s every Friday during Lent except for Good Friday beginning February 19th.  Sign-up sheets for the Fish Fry’s will be in vestibule of the Church next weekend - January 16-17.
