GOD shows the Mystery of CHRIST to all nations.  HE HOLDS IN his hands the kingdom, the power and the world.  The Wise Men saw the Star and journeyed to adore the Baby Jesus.

 

Let us make a New Years resolution to visit JESUS in the Adoration Chapel one hour each week.  Open Hours: Tuesday 11:00 AM, Tuesday Noon, and Friday 1:00 PM

THEOLOGY ON TAP

 

Fun in the middle of the Winter Hum-Drum: Theology on Tap!  Theology on Tap, sponsored by the Cathedral Young Adults, will be held on Wednesday nights from January 6th - February 10th at Gabe’s Roadhouse on the corner of Lexington and Energy Parkway at 991 N. Lexington Parkway.  Doors open at 7:00 PM and presentation is from 7:30 to 8:45 PM, giving young adults (ages 21 to 39, single and married!) the opportunity to learn, share and ask about the Catholic faith!

CHRISTMAS CAROLING - Join the Polish American Cultural Institute of Minnesota in singing koldędy TODAY January 3 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Catholic Eldercare, 817 Main Street NE.  Meet in Atrium at 1:00 PM to practice prior to caroling.  People are also invited to attend a Christmas sing-along at River Village, 2919 Randolph Street NE at 3:30 PM.  Words and music provided by Bob Gacek and his accordion.  If there is illness at Eldercare, we will immediately go to River Village.  For information, call Judith at 763-571-9602.

FAMILY HOLY HOUR - Join other families from our diocese for a Family Holy Hour next Sunday, January 10th at Holy Cross.  Father Tony Vanderloop, Pastor of St. Peter Church in Richfield, will lead the Holy Hour - a special afternoon of music, prayer, Adoration, Benediction and reflection.  Confessions start at 2:15 PM and Adoration at 3:00 PM.  Bring a snack to share! Families should plan to enjoy fellowship in Kolbe Hall after prayer.

NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION?  The N.E. Community LightWeigh is starting this month.  Grow in your Catholic faith while you lose weight!  Come to an orientation this Monday, January 4th at 7:00 PM or Thursday, Jan. 7th at 5:00 PM in the Parish Library.  Enter through the blue doors on 4th Street side of the school building.  Or call 763-221-8716 if you are unable to attend one of the meetings.  With God all things are possible!  Even keeping New Years resolutions.
