THOUGHTS…..

This weekend we think of the saints as Monday will be All Saints Day.  The saints had a desire, like Zacchaeus in our Gospel this Sunday, to see Jesus personally and to change their lives through meeting him.  We meet Jesus through the Church in Baptism, in the Eucharist, in the scriptures that are proclaimed to us each Sunday and at daily mass, Confirmation and in so many other ways.  Right now in this process of restructuring it is a little harder to see Jesus through all the commotion that we are in the midst of.  Like Zacchaeus in the Gospel, let us be very creative and prayerful people.

There are many possibilities for how things can be worked out. Stay with us in community united in faith.  How we work together to address this situation will test our medal as Christians but can also bring about a new commitment to church and faith that might enable us to really break out of the present situation that the church finds itself in generally, that has brought about the necessity of restructuring around the Archdiocese.  I am committed to serving you.

Please consult the parish bulletin for listings of mass times for All Saints Day on Monday, and All Souls Day on Tuesday.
