Text Box: BULLETIN CONNECTION

The better seats always command a higher price. At the stadium, at a concert, at a play, or in the arena, the seats that are closest to the action always cost more than those that are further away. It’s the same with real estate. The house on the hill with expansive vistas or the condominium with the ocean view is valued much more than the same building in a suburban tract.

We want to see!

Just like blind Bartimaeus in today’s Gospel, we naturally want a good view. And we are willing to pay good money to get it.

No amount of money could give Bartimaeus sight - that only came from the power of Christ. It is not a good view that will save us, but rather insight into God’s will for us and following Christ throughout our lives.

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION

We are very much in need because of the wars.  In the words of John Paul II, “The best, the surest, and the most effective way to establishing everlasting peace on the face of the earth is through the great power of Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
