Text Box: MESSAGE FROM
FATHER JENSON

The Lord Jesus in our Gospel proclaims that he has come to bring the blessings of God to them. It is so easy to overlook blessings from God during our day unless we are actively looking for them each day. A desire to see Godís blessings in circumstances and from other people can open our eyes to how much he loves us. I will be on retreat this week in Schulenburg, Texas to help to reopen my eyes to see the blessings of God in my life and in the life of our parish communities.

There are many graces from God that I am aware of right now, and more that appear to be coming forth for these communities as new ministries are beginning to bud forth from last summerís Northeast Vacation Bible School and this fallís Family Nights at Holy Cross. In a few months I expect that we might see some very exciting evidence of blessings from the Lord for our Northeast parish communities in the form of new ministries to stir the faith in our area anew. Praised be Jesus Christ!

Donít forget our Schoolís Spaghetti Supper at Kolbe Hall on Saturday, Feb. 6th. Itís a great meal, and an even greater cause! See you there.
